What is Ottodyn?

Todays engines are reaching incredible levels of performance nobody could imagine a few years ago. Most of the gains have been made possible through new technology only OEM manufacturers and professional racing teams have the ability to use. Unfortunately the everyday motorsports enthusiast is left behind in this technology race.

A group of motorsports engineers have been working together on their own projects for a while now. To satisfy their own curiosity they’ve developed tools to expose the mysteries of the internal combustion engine. These projects are called Ottodyn. The Ottodyn project has grown out of a grass-roots effort.

The group has a niche following and has helped a few engine builders fine-tune cylinder head valve systems to optimize durability and performance. Ottodyn is currently working on new projects to explore more engine secrets at the request of fellow enthusiasts.

Ottodyn was mentioned in August 2009 Hot Rod Magazine’s article “Ford 427 Cammer Build – Return Of The SOHC” (see Articles section in right toolbar)

Data and videos on for projects will be posted in the X-Garage as available!

Please submit a comment or question especially if you need help with a performance related issue. We may know the answer or be able to point you to someone that does.

Thank you for visiting Ottodyn.
